Scott R. Staab
Mr. Staab was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 1985. He attended and graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 1989. Mr. Staab then went to Law School at the University of Puget Sound School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1993.
After law school, Mr. Staab was hired at the Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office as a deputy prosecuting attorney. Mr. Staab prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to serious felony offenses. He also represented the county in civil matters including land use issues and support enforcement.
Scott Staab returned to Spokane in 1999 where he began defending criminal and traffic cases. He has continued to defend the rights of the accused in most of the counties in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. Mr. Staab has taken cases to both the court of appeals and to the Supreme Court of Washington in an effort to protect his clients and afford them justice. He was recognized as one of Spokane's Top Lawyers in 2009.
